根據科學報導, 澄萃茶藝建議以運動搭配喝茶, 可大幅提升減肥的效率。研究顯示茶中的兒茶素對於運動時的脂肪燃燒有顯著效果,以運動前30分鐘至1小時為佳。最後要特別注意的是,雖然喝茶能提高身體的熱量代謝率,但這並不包括市面上所販售的含糖調味茶,糖分不僅加重人體負擔,也增加熱量的攝取,對於減肥沒有正面助益,喝茶仍應該以天然無糖為首選 [5-7]。

Tea helps losing fat, which is the benefit that tea polyphenol, especially catechin. Research has shown that catechin discourages the effect of enzyme and accelerates the speed of fat burning, which can fight for obesity effectively. Specifically, green tea has the most catechin compared to black tea and oolong tea. Meanwhile, tea caffeine can improve bowel movement, helping digesting and metabolism as well. Therefore, drinking tea appropriately at the right time prevents fat accumulation. To ingest more catechin, drinking tea is proven the healthiest and reliable way despite the fact that many nutritional supplements containing catechin are available nowadays [1-4].

Drinking tea before exercising helps lose weight remarkably. LittoTea found the best way to burn the fat efficiently is drinking tea 30 minutes to 1 hour before the workout according to the scientific data. However, it excludes sugar-flavored tea.
