想知道台灣紅茶分別有哪些特色嗎?

紅玉紅茶,為台茶18號,採用緬甸大葉種紅茶與台灣野生山茶交配而成,製成的茶葉為條索狀且略粗,色澤墨黑帶有些紫光,而紅玉紅茶茶湯則呈亮麗的金紅色,口感鮮甜圓潤,香氣還帶有淡淡的薄荷香與天然的肉桂香,有台灣香紅茶茶品之稱[1]。

紅韻紅茶,為台茶21號,採用印度大葉種與祁門交配而成,剛萌芽的幼嫩葉子容易纖維化,因此採摘期較短。另外採茶時,也需要注意力道拿捏,否則茶葉則會顯得較為鬆散,也會影響到外觀與色澤。紅韻紅茶茶湯明亮金紅,口感雖然較為清淡,但卻富含甘甜之滋味,並散發出明顯濃郁的香氣,類似柚花香或花果香[1]。

台灣阿薩姆紅茶在日治時期由印度東北部的阿薩姆省引進種植,為台茶8號,茶樹幼芽特長,枝葉粗大,葉色呈淡黃綠,萌芽期早,因此產量高。阿薩姆紅茶茶葉細扁,帶有麥芽香,茶湯色澤與其他紅茶相比較深,略呈深紅褐色且口感濃烈[2-4]。

Introduction to Taiwan black tea

Ruby black tea, TTES No. 18, is planted by the combination of Burma and Taiwan wild camellia. Tea leaves are like cord shape, and the color is dark black with quite purple. Ruby black tea with the golden red color tastes soft and sweet, and the scent smells like mint and natural cinnamon. Therefore, ruby black tea can also be called black tea with the Taiwanese aroma[1].

Hongyun black tea, TTES No. 21, is cultivated by the combination of Indian Jaipuri and Keemon. Budding young leaves of hongyun black tea are easy to become fibrotic, so the period of the harvest is shorter. In addition, it should be plucked with the most appropriate strength. Otherwise, tea leaves would become friable, which influences the appearance of tea as well. Hongyun black tea looks bright red, and has the sweet aftertaste. Although it tastes lighter, it releases the strong scent, like the floral or fruity smell[1].

Taiwan assam black tea, TTES No. 8, has been introduced from Assam in northeast India since the Japanese colonial period. Young tea leaves are long and thick with the yellow-green color. The time of budding starts early, which contributes to the high production. Tea leaves of Taiwan assam black tea are thick and flat with the smell of malt. Meanwhile, it is red-brown which is darker than other kinds of black tea, and tastes a bit strong[2-4].
