喝茶好處多多,但你知道如何將好處極大化嗎?

喝茶除了大家熟知的去油解膩提神利尿之外,茶葉中豐富的茶多酚物質及多種維生素礦物質,有抗氧化抑制細菌生長發炎保護眼睛及腦部的功能,促進新陳代謝降低膽固醇與體脂肪,對預防中風心血管疾病高血壓糖尿病癌症肥胖老化等方面均有效果,還能防止氣喘發作預防骨質疏鬆,其中微量的氟也可以降低發生蛀牙的機率,而茶葉中的茶鹼還能夠止咳化痰,喝茶好處實在多多[1-3]。

不過茶具有利尿的功能會造成身體水分的流失,因此一天攝取的茶量應以人體所需水分的一半,大約600.c.c.較為適當,而人體每日所攝取的咖啡因也應以200至300毫克為限,若是對咖啡因較敏感或是有失眠問題的人,在下午兩、三點以後也不應該喝茶。茶中咖啡因的含量大約30至75毫克,相較咖啡含有80至100毫克的咖啡因,喝對人體的傷害較小,而根據研究,除了茶葉本身的咖啡因較少,茶多酚也能夠結合部分的咖啡因,使其不容易進入人體腦部,另外茶中的茶胺酸具有抑制腦部受到咖啡因刺激的功能,因此茶本身就可以抑制咖啡因的影響,但每日仍不宜飲用過量[3]。

在時間方面,不能空腹喝茶,也不能飯後馬上喝茶,兩者均會增加腸胃的負擔影響消化;在量方面,喝茶過量的話會抑制鐵質的吸收,產生缺鐵性貧血,而且過量也會有過量咖啡因茶鹼,容易產生心悸心跳加速失眠等問題,茶葉中的單寧酸若攝取太多,也會影響腸胃蠕動,造成便秘,有貧血腸胃功能不佳的人也應該盡量減少喝茶,以避免更嚴重的問題。另外,實驗顯示茶中含有的黃酮醇會抑制甲狀腺荷爾蒙的形成,因此為了避免黃酮醇累積在胎兒體內,因此懷孕中的婦女也不宜大量喝。在沖泡方式方面,由於經過多次沖泡後,茶中營養的成分會越來越少,而鞣酸則會越來越多,影響消化,因此重複沖泡應以三次為限[1-4]。

Tea benefits and drawbacks

Tea has benefits and drawbacks. For the good part, tea containing rich polyphenols, vitamins and minerals is antioxidant, which can prevent bacteria from growing and protect the brain and eyes. Meanwhile, drinking tea can promote metabolism, reduce fat and cholesterol, and prevent stroke, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, obesity, aging problems, asthma, osteoporosis and tooth decay. Tea has many benefits[1-3].

When it comes to tea drawbacks, tea is diuretic, which may cause the loss of water in body. Therefore, it is suggested that the amount of tea drink should be half water needed by body per day, about 600.c.c., and caffeine should be limited below 200-300 mg. Those who are sensitive caffeine and insomnia should not drink tea after 2 or 3 pm. Caffeine in tea is about 30 to 75 mg, which harms human health less, compared to coffee containing 80 to 100 mg caffeine. According to research, polyphenols in tea can combine some caffeine, preventing them from harming the brain. Tryptophan in tea can prevent caffeine stimulation as well. Despite the fact that tea can balance caffeine effect, we still should not drink too much tea per day[3].

Drinking tea is prohibited before meal and after meal immediately, which may harm stomach and influence digestion. Too much tea would block iron adsorbed, and too much caffeine could lead to palpitations and insomnia. Meanwhile, too much tannic acid in tea may cause constipation. Those who have anemia or stomach problems should not drink too much tea. In addition, research shows that flavonosl in tea would influence the formation of thyroid hormones. Pregnant women should not drink too much tea to prevent flavonosl accumulating in babies’ bodies. Finally, the nutrition in tea becomes less after steeping many times with the tannic acid increasing. Therefore, it is better to brew the same tea no more than three times[1-4].

It is recommended to drink tea in the appropriate amount, which can benefit our health the most. Neither canned tea containing sugar and chemical materials nor bubble tea helps our health.
