紅茶到外國怎麼就變成黑了呢?

紅茶叫黑茶?這是怎麼回事?

咦,這是怎麼回事,為什麼紅茶到外國怎麼就變成「黑茶」了呢?這是因為中國人對紅茶的命名是來源於其茶葉泡開後茶湯呈現紅色,而歐洲人則是看到是茶葉本身屬於黑色,所以命名為「Black tea」。

茶葉與空氣接觸後所製成的完全發酵茶即是紅茶,紅茶對人體的幫助並不亞於綠茶,紅茶除了含有有益人體的兒茶素,還有經過長時間發酵產生的茶黃質茶紅質,也可以降低中風或心血管疾病的發生。[1-2]

Why is BLACK tea? not RED tea?

Do you know the naming of black tea?
In Chinese and the languages of neighboring countries, black tea is known as “Red tea" (Chinese 紅茶 hóngchá,) a description of the color of the liquid; the Western term “Black tea" refers to the color of the oxidized leaves.

Black tea is a type of tea that is more oxidized than oolong, green teas. Black tea is generally stronger in flavor than the less oxidized teas. Black tea has the same benefit for our health as green tea. In addition to catechin, theaflavins and thearubigins produced through fermentation help lower the risks of stroke and cardiovascular diseases according to research.[1-2]
